The Lean Manufacturing Yellow Belt Course provides participants with an overview of the basic principles of Lean Thinking and Lean, and outlines the essential tools and practices to be applied within an organization to improve Customer satisfaction, increase service efficiency and quality, and reduce waste.

The Yellow Belt program is therefore designed to create a basic level of Lean awareness, to support an organization both during and after change, to make the benefits of a Lean implementation sustainable.

It is a useful tool to gradually approach the Lean philosophy. The subsequent levels of Lean competence are Green Belt, Black Belt, and Champion.

The Lean certification program is built on a step-by-step approach: this means that in order to obtain the Champion certification, the candidate must first obtain the Green and Black Belt certifications.

At the end of the course, candidate will sit for the Lean Yellow Belt exam endorsed by IIBLC® – International Independent Board for Lean Certification (www.iiblc.org).

The course is delivered in 2 days, and concludes with the discussion of a simulated examination.
