Advance delivers Lean courses based on the international Book of Knowledge of IIBLC®, International Independent Board for Lean Certification (www.iiblc.org), a non-profit association that aims to provide an objective and independent attestation of Lean methodology knowledge and skills to companies and individuals, and to become, thanks to a standardized certification system, a reference point at international level.

These training programs prepare Lean Managers and Leaders to meet the growing challenges in Operations.

The levels of IIBLC® certification are:

– Certified Green Belt in Lean (CGBL)
– Certified Black Belt in Lean (CBBL)

– Certified Champion in Lean (CChL)

The Lean certification program is built on a step-by-step approach: this means that in order to obtain the Champion certification, the candidate must first obtain the Green and Black Belt certifications.

The objective of the course is to become a leader of an improvement team by learning the following Lean tools, techniques, and introduction to Human Skills:

  • Transfer knowledge of Lean strategy tools and techniques
  • Provide the knowledge needed to move from a “Current state” to a “Future state” in improvement projects in different production and service environments
  • Provide a practical approach to successfully implementing Lean, managing the necessary cultural and organizational changes
  • Through the exam and discussion of a specific project proposed by the participant, accompany the latter in the implementation, accelerating learning and the acquisition of Project Leader skills
  • Prepare to pass the Lean Black Belt (CBBL) IIBLC® exam

The path is divided into:

1. Theoretical phase dedicated to preparing the candidate for the theoretical exam: this phase ends with the discussion of a mock exam before the official IIBLC® Black Belt theoretical exam.

2. Practical phase dedicated to the project to be presented to the IIBLC® committee for certification. This phase includes a project setup session for all course participants; then two individual sessions are scheduled for project progress checks.

We designed 2 Lean Black Belt training paths, delivered over 5/6 months by certified instructors:

• Classroom path: 5 training days + 2 individual webinar sessions

• Live Webinar path: 6 sessions of 3 hours each+ 2 individual sessions

Upon request, Advance also offers in-house training programs tailored to organizational needs.

Testimonials

“The Lean Black Belt course organized by Advance School is a top-level training program, clearly structured, in-depth, and above all focused on delivering concrete results.

One of the aspects I appreciated most is its highly practical approach: real case studies, hands-on exercises, and tools that can be immediately applied within the company. The training materials are comprehensive, up to date, and clearly explained, even in the more technical sections.

The course does not simply train methodology experts; it prepares true continuous improvement leaders, capable of managing complex projects and generating measurable value for the organization.

Special mention goes to the instructor, Stefano, whose expertise and constant availability represented a fundamental added value throughout the entire training journey.

I highly recommend the Lean Black Belt training to anyone who wants to take their skills to the next level and stand out in the field of operational excellence.”
