Advance delivers Lean courses based on the international Book of Knowledge of IIBLC®, International Independent Board for Lean Certification (www.iiblc.org), a non-profit association that aims to provide an objective and independent attestation of Lean methodology knowledge and skills to companies and individuals, and to become, thanks to a standardized certification system, a reference point at international level.
These training programs prepare Lean Managers and Leaders to meet the growing challenges in Operations.
The levels of IIBLC® certification are:
– Certified Champion in Lean (CChL)
The Lean certification program is built on a step-by-step approach: this means that in order to obtain the Champion certification, the candidate must first obtain the Green and Black Belt certifications.
The objective of the course is to provide the tools to become part of an improvement team, learning the following basic Lean concepts and techniques:
- Transfer the Lean vision of how to create Value for the Customer
- Provide specific Lean knowledge, techniques, and tools to identify the Value stream and identify sources of waste
- Provide a structured approach to follow for a successful Lean implementation that also describes the cultural and organizational changes required
- Through Case Studies of Lean implementation, highlight the critical issues to be addressed and the solutions adopted, accelerating learning
- Prepare to pass the Lean Green Belt (CGBL) IIBLC® exam
We designed 2 Lean Green Belt training paths, delivered over 3/4 months by certified instructors:
• Classroom path: 5 training days
• Live Webinar Flipped Class path: 10 sessions of 1.5 hours each. In this version, participants are required to do pre-reading before the session, to then go into depth with the instructor on some key concepts, depending on the needs of the class.
Upon request, Advance also offers in-house training programs tailored to organizational needs.
teaching plan
The course includes:
- A classroom or Live Webinar training phase
- An individual study phase with remote instructor support
- Exam simulation with discussion of results. At the end of the course, the candidate can take the final exam in paper-and-pencil format, held at the Advance premises in Basel. The exam consists of a multiple-choice questionnaire.
Teaching, learning material and final exam are in English. A good knowledge of English is therefore required.
» After passing the exam, IIBLC® will award the CGBL – Certified Green Belt in Lean.
