New Implementation Sales & Operations Planning
Advance SC Solutions has been chosen by a leading Italian business to implement its Sales & Operations Planning process.
An S&OP implementation project is a massive project and involves four steps according to the Advance approach: Assessment, Feasibility, Planning & Training, and Execution.
In the first phase – Assessment, taking place at present, the Advance SC Solutions team carries out an analysis of the organisation of processes, the systems in use and current practices in the action area. Various professionals from all company departments are taking part in individual interviews with our consultants to help them identify organisational methods, expertise, processes and tools that can be used to collect data.
The results of this diagnosis will highlight the strengths of S&OP as well as the criticalities in terms of best practices, and therefore the opportunities generated by adopting excellent reference models.
Only in later phases will the solution be defined and subsequently implemented.
The project, which began towards the end of April and is scheduled to last 12 months.
