This CLTD programme in classroom mode was created with the intention of gathering together the best international experiences in logistics, distribution and transport and to create a programme dedicated to the logistics professionals able to supply: operational tools, best practices, experiences and contents to bring concrete solutions to the company.

The extent of the Master in Logistics allows it to deal deeply with all kinds of topics such as, for example: the connection with the supply chain and new trends (lean logistics), stock and warehouse management, Transport, global Logistics (infrastructure, customs, etc.), distributive network planning and finally Reverse Logistics. The aim is to provide participants with the widest possible spectrum of knowledge of such a vast field.

The Master is based on APICS’ Body of Knowledge (BOK) with the aim of:

  • Transferring Best Practice into the fields of Logistics, Transport and Distribution
  • Preparing the candidate for international CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution)
  • Encouraging the passage from knowledge to skills.

 

The course is held by certified teachers with many years of experience teaching and professionally in the fields of Transportation, Logistics & Distribution.

Upon request, Advance organises in-house training programmes in any language.

 

  • Teaching plan

    The Master is divided into 5 days of training and 8 modules which cover APICS’ Body of Knowledge in the field. In the course of the programme the following are scheduled:

     

    * A training phase in the classroom
    * A phase of individualized study with long distance support by the instructors
    * Simulation of an exam in the classroom with a discussion on the results

     

    The Master is strongly interactive and accompanied by exchanges of experiences which allows the participants to enrich their knowledge and deal with their company’s problems.

    The course is taught in English.

    PREREQUISITES
    In order to be registered for the final exam, each candidate for certification must provide proof of being in possession of one of the following requirements:
    1. At least 3 years of experience in logistics
    2. A three-year degree or an internationally recognised specialization
    3. One of the following certifications: CSCP, CPIM, CFPIM, SCOR-P, C.P.M, CSM, CPSM or CTL

  • Pricing and enrolment

    There are benefits for the participation fees for those who register 30 – 60 days before the start of the course. Be quick and do not lose out on the benefits offered by the school!

    3450 CHF + VAT(without exam)

     

    For registrations received 30 days before the start date of the course, it is foreseen a 5% rebate on the enrolment fee.

    NOTE:
    The fee include the APICS Learning Kit.
    The fee does not include enrolment in APICS CLTD exam.

    The course requires a minimum enrolment of 6 participants for activation in order to allow the best interaction between participants and instructors.
