  Advance School is Media Partner of one of the biggest Virtual Supply Chain Summit yet organized by Alcott Global, a management-consulting firm focused on the supply chain and logistics industry. With over 20 hours worth of content, 50 keynote speakers and panelists from around the world, the summit will kick start on the 16th of July and all contents will be available until the 31st of July. One week pre-event, all participants will be invited into the event platform for 1 on 1 networking sessions.  With the theme, “Preparing for the recovery after COVID-19”, there will be 12 discussion panels set to tackle topics around practical supply chains solutions for a fast recovery. The topics will revolve around supply chain resilience and visibility, designing network strategy, managing risk and disruption in supply chain, next generation integrated business planning, using crisis and disruption to your advantage, reconfiguring and optimizing supply chains, success stories of global supply chains and making the right decisions in supply chains. Joining the event as keynote speakers are Bjorn Vang Jensen, Global VP Logistics at Electrolux, Robert Blackburn, Senior Vice President Operations at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., Dr. Dirk Holbach, Chief Supply Chain Officer Laundry & Home Care at Henkel, Sabine Mueller, Chief Executive Officer at DHL Consulting, Harald Emberger, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Beiersdorf, and Richard Wilding, Professor of Supply Chain Strategy at Cranfield School of Management. They will address in keynotes subjects about digital factories and success case studies, cyberattack and stock accuracy, breaking operations siloes in the middle of a pandemic, as well as models for financing global trades. Registration for the event started three weeks ago, June 2, with over 4,000 registrants in the first week. Until June 22, it has seen another 1,000 participants registering. The initiative was created in exceptional circumstances to allow the candidates who, in this period of medical emergency caused by Coronavirus,  wants to complete the APICS certification path.
